It's Friday

Well, it is finally Friday and I have been looking forward to it all week. But today was stressful for reasons I don't even want to go into. I am just grateful that I have a wonderful DH and kids and that we are all healthy.

On that note, I am going to try my hardest to enjoy the weekend and de-stress. The best way I know how to de-stress is to stitch. So I decided that I am going to start my "new" rotation tomorrow. DS has been after me to go back to *his* dragon and it looks like that is what I will be doing. *His* dragon is the Fire Dragon by Cross My Heart. I started it last October after CATS and it is done on black 28 ct. Monaco evenweave. I have the head almost complete and am now working my way toward the right and it is part of the sky. I guess it is because I can't tell. This design must use every shade of orange, yellow and brown that DMC makes. Thank goodness, I like those colors and they just pop out on the black. With any luck, I will get this design done before he goes to college in 7 years. I think if I can really stick with a rotation, this will be done in record time. Making a weekly rotation is giving me the confidence that I can do this. After all, it is one week (or two at the most) each month of working on black with yellow, orange or brown. :)))

Then after that, he will probably want me to start the Water Dragon. But being his Mom (and best girl to date), I probably will put that into my rotation just because he asks.
